The grapes are tanked under cold temperature (10°), 3 weeks maceration. Then the unique action is a bi-weekly control to follow the evolution of the wine.
AGEING :
1 year, 50% in concrete tank and 50% in neutral Burgundian barrels. (3 years old). Not filtered and not fined.
Translates to "Grape and Granite". The color is deep purple with some staining in the legs, full bodied for a gamay with intense fruits, minerals and energy. There is a silkiness on the finish and lingering acid.
Bright and clear ruby color.
Expressive and fresh nose with notes of acid red fruits, currant and strawberry, then when it opens up, a frame of minerality appears.
The mouth is perfectly balanced, with a great acidity around notes of berries, a kind of wild herbaceous but with finesse.
